On one of the hottest evenings of the year we visited the Free Range Graduate show private vies. It was like an oven inside the gallery and no air conditioning . The show was good the hospitality poor and the amount of people was massive. The heat made it unbearable , we could only mage about an hour and a half then we just had to escape into the fresh air. A disappointing first time visit. I'm sure that there is more to see, its just we did not find it this time.

This restaurant offers amazing street food from around the world. We sampled dishes from Sri Lankan, Persian, and Ethiopian cuisines, all of which were delicious and a bargain at £5/£6 per plate. We were also tempted by the Brazilian, Cuban, Italian, and Japanese options and plan on trying them next time. The only downside is the limited seating, but we enjoyed walking around with our plates, observing the different cooks and their tantalizing dishes.

I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch if you are in the Spitalfields/Brick Lane area. I have visited a couple of times and the food is always excellent with a wide variety of choices. On this visit, I had Malaysian cuisine which was delicious, while my husband enjoyed a tasty hot dog. We also tried the Mexican food on a previous visit and it was equally good. Make sure to also check out the Spitalfields craft market if you have time.

There are so many amazing food stalls to choose from, offering a wide variety of delicious-looking food. We were tempted to try everything! The few dishes we did end up choosing were excellent. Each meal was priced at around 5-6 pounds, which is a great deal for the portion size. We will definitely be returning to try out some of the other options. Book a table now

Brick Lane might be best known for Indian food but come down The Boiler House at weekends for great, good value street food from all over the world. We particularly like Eithiopiques, lovely vegan food but there are other good choices for veggies. If you're there late in the day prices are reduced so the food is even better value.

In the heart of the Brick Lane area is the Old Truman Brewery, which has now been converted into a food, drink shopping venue. We visited during the day. Really interesting shopping, fab food to try some great street art. Really cool happening place to visit.

This place used to be a brewery, no one could tell now it was! truely transformed. There are shops, bars, clubs and food court at weekend. Absolute must visit when in Brick Lane.
