The Olive Tree Cafe

I stopped by this restaurant while passing through the area, feeling famished and craving a jacket potato. The appearance of the place didn't initially thrill me, but its convenient location won me over. The service was quick and efficient, although not overly friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and found the prices to be reasonable. I would definitely consider returning if I found myself in the area again. The only downside was that the restroom could have been checked more frequently, but this may have been a one-time issue rather than a recurring problem.

Having ordered, my coffee arrived and was perched half on the table. No reason for this. The waiter appeared indifferent and then flounced off. I purposely left it like that pending arrival of my food or it being knocked to the floor. The waiter arrived with the food, oblivious, and off he went! What an odd place.

I have visited this restaurant many times and the food is consistently excellent. It is a great place for a quick meal or to spend some time catching up with friends. I highly recommend trying the smoothies and juices as well! The service is fast, the food is high quality, and the staff are always friendly.

The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. The menu offers a good variety of options for everyone. This is a family-owned restaurant, so they are always willing to accommodate any requests. They also have a kids' menu and a small dessert menu available.

A lovely roast dinner finished off with a syrup sponge pudding and cream. Not fancy food but a good size portion, very good value and good quality. My only negative is the sullen waitress. She made us feel like we were an inconvenience!
