stopped here for impromptu lunch and a drink with family and discovered a jewel. the staff was so warm and welcoming, the location was comfortable and traditional. for the first time in the years I felt the need to congratulate the cook over quality, fresh and high standard of food presented. once I didn't have the terrible feeling, what a waste of money and I'll never get back there again! well made to all employees and we will see them again, please you can a larger part of the amazing home cooked chips next time!
We were driving home to Devon from a few days away and happened on this pub , what a wonderful find ! The food was amazing , the best gammon steak I've ever tasted ...real butchers gammon not pink plasticky supermarket stuff . The chips...were brilliant as well , in fact I kept on eating even though I was full ! My husband had the faggots and he said he thoroughly enjoyed them. We'll be talking about this place for a long time to come
all meals booked before our visit to the people, as we had to be somewhere else by turning served on eating served by eating was fantastic and very well cooked and delicious everyone loved what they had. very friendly and efficient. wants to visit again
