The Crispy Pork with Shrimp Paste was sautéed in garlic, onion, and coconut milk. We were surprised by the flavor—it wasn't bad, but it wasn’t particularly impressive or memorable either. Overall, our early dinner was quite disappointing. We shared our honest feedback about the Grilled Sisig, and in return, we ended up waiting over half an hour for our food, which was served in fifteen-minute intervals. Now, we’re left wondering if this was intentional or just a mistake. Let’s hope it was just a mix-up and that they didn’t have issues with our food before bringing it out.
I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food and service are always excellent. However, I found the sisig to be a bit too sour for my liking, and the pancit was somewhat salty. Next time, I’ll ask for less lemon on the sisig and less soy sauce on the pancit. Without a doubt, their crispy pata and kare-kare are our favorite dishes!
