I just moved to Delco and I’m so happy I found this spot! The ambiance of the spot feels like Cheers. It is so cute, a little local gem. My partner and I sat at the bar because they were booked on a Tuesday! Which is a great sign, but make sure you make reservations! I just wanted some mussels and clams and I really was not disappointed. The mussels I got in a red wine sauce, they were delicious but tasted like it was in a tomato based sauce instead. I didn’t taste any red wine but it was still delicious. The baked clams were delicious as well. Diane our server made me Mango Martinis because they weee revamping the drink menu and didn’t have one. I love Diane after those drinks! I’ll be back...

What hasn't been said about the legendary Clam Tavern already? A Delco mainstay for decades, it was a date spot for my parents when we'd visit my grandparents in Media and Collingdale (RIP Clam Tavern II). The baked clams are absolutely mandatory (I ordered 2 dozen), the steaks are A+ and the lobster tails are perfectly sweet. The bartender mixed a delicious Moscow Mule which I ordered on a whim (I'm a beer guy). Girlfriend loved the coleslaw and I'm never disappointed by their baked potatoes. I always bring a cup of their New England clam chowder home to compliment whatever is in my doggy bag the next day.

The food was super delicious. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with broccoli instead of the fries. I also ordered the south comfort manhattan. I split the bill with a friend who ordered mussels with red sauce and coconut shrimp. We only spent 54.00 great price. The bread in the beginning was awesome nice, warm, and fresh. Definitely recommending this place for anyone that wants good dining at affordable prices.

Scallops were amazing and had lots of flavor and super tender. They have a kids menu and the portions are huge and cheap! And their fries are my favorite fries ever hands down. Don't be deceived- it's more than just a hole in the wall from the looks of it. They have an upper level and first level dining area.
