On a recent trip to Bath we arrived on a late Sunday night train from London and wanted a simple but satisfying dinner. It’s primarily a student destination in the evening (we arrived around 830 pm on a Sunday). The pizza was decent with a nice crust (New York style) but the wine is definitely overpriced. The hostile and unfriendly attitude of the host/server was a negative in a half empty place and very different from our experience in London where everyone at restaurants were welcoming and friendly regardless of price point. Hey there Oven: we know Bath gets many foreign tourists but even they deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, right? I suspect this place gets so much student...
There were three of us at the restaurant. Two people didn't want to eat, so we ordered just one pizza. The waiter informed us that they don't allow one pizza for three people, so we had to order two pizzas instead. Unfortunately, the pizza was not good at all and we couldn't even finish it. We were very disappointed with the food quality. Overall, we would rate our experience as 0/10.
We were on vacation in England for the first time and just happened upon this wonderful restaurant with fabulous meals and excellent service while visiting Bath! The pizza was supremely delicious, so much so that we returned the following evening for more! The toppings tasted fresh and the dough was perfection! The entire staff from cooks to servers to hosts were outstanding!
We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of some friends and they were right! the pizzas were delicious, they had flavour, the dough was crispy and thin with a lot of variety for vegetarians and vegans. The staff was amazing, very kind. We followed their recommendations on what to order and everything was fantastic. We will return and recommend it without hesitation.

Visited with wife 2 young kids on a cold October evening. When I asked for the door to be closed as it was very drafty the manager refused, became very abusive, told the kitchen to stop cooking our food and threw us out young kids and all. Pizza looked average but would advise those who don’t want this aggressive attitude to avoid.
Angelo and the team were fantastic, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had with quality service. Would highly recommend coming here for either light snack or a full on dinner, I went with my partner and we had starter, main and dessert and everything was amazing! Especially the tiramisu will be coming back very soon!!

Amazing service and pizzas, we had no reservation. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery even in October- under the heat lamp. We designed our own pizza and they were absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely visit again!

We went to the restaurant on Saturday evening. It was quite busy and we hadn't made a reservation in advance. We ended up getting the spicy salami pizza to go, and it was delicious.
Incredible Pizzas! First time eating at The Oven and had a great experience. The pizzas were incredible, really tasty. Would recommend eating here!
