Writing on behalf of relative who arranged a wake on 27th March. When we arrived the doors were closed and we had to sit in our cars because it was cold and raining. When we entered the pub it was freezing and the food was not ready. We had to wait for the coffee machine to warm up. After about an hour the food was brought out. Sadly some of the party had to leave by then. The food consisted of pies containing little or no meat and were cut in half. The tiniest of sausage rolls a few chips, two small jugs of gravy which they served you. Bowl of pasta and coleslaw. A tray of sandwiches. Small quiche cut in to quarties. Mini pork pies cut in half. 3 tray bakes. This was charged at £14 per head...

This place is disgraceful! Attended a wake here, the pub was shut when we all arrived, even the barmaid was sat outside. The attitude of the staff was really bad. Place was freezing, the food was definitely not worth £14 per head! Could of gone to asda ourselves for a fraction of the price. As we left, they all stared at us like we had 2 heads! The cup of tea looked like dirty dish water...even had froth on top! Never ever again will I go here.

Called into the pack horse tonight for a drink to a lovely warm welcome. I hadn’t had chance to have dinner but thankfully they still had fresh hand made pizzas available, I’ve got to say it was delicious ,so a big thank you , this may become a regular thing forgetting to have some dinner ! See you soon x Book a table now

I attended the wake and saw the blonde girl working behind the bar also eating some of the food. I am completely disgusted and would not recommend this place as a venue. Shame on you.
