This place is well worth the drive. It's up in the beautiful countryside, great atmosphere, great food. I have eaten and drank here several times and it doesn't disappoint. I did however have the cheese and onion pie which had a larger proportion of potato (big pet hate! than I would have liked however the quality was there. Lovely log fires to keep you warm and a selection of real ales which are well kept to keep you hydrated! Add this to your to do list, it won't disappoint!
We went for mother's day Sunday roast dinner not great food only just warm,sent back for reheat.been here lots normally very good poor on this day
Lovely stop off after a nice walk. Clean and tidy, efficient staff. Recommended.
