First time for restaurant or takeaway we ordered the imperial banquet, we arrived around 6pm food came out pretty quickly and was fresh , chicken and sweet corn soup was lovely and the duck also mains of salt and pepper king prawn and beef cantonese all lovely. What we could believe was the amount of orders they took for takeaways and walk ins and as the night went on our food took longer and longer to come out due to the amount of orders they had flying out is was unbelievable I have never seen anything like it sometimes 4-7 people waiting for takeaways and drivers in and out with 6 orders at a time to deliver just shows it’s lovely food would definatley eat here again but maybe a little ea...
We decided to try this restaurant because our go-to takeaway was closed for Chinese New Year, but we were extremely let down. The chicken was overly moist and slimy, the chips were dry and cold, and the crispy shredded chilli beef was overly sweet, almost as if it had been coated in sugar. The salt and pepper chicken dish we ordered had only 6 pieces of chicken, with the majority of the container filled with onions. Overall, the food was not worth the price we paid. Unfortunately, our dining experience fell short of our expectations and we do not plan on returning or recommending this restaurant to others.
visited here and ordered the mini banquet and honestly it was terrible, we was seated upstairs which was cold and right next to the toilets which smelled,the food was over marinated as the beef had turned jelly like,the spring rolls was like catfood inside, we have been up half the night with stomach pains and this was only the place we visited dont take a genius to figure out the culprit, definately wont be going back there
Wow we ordered this on a whim thinking it would be ok as it’s a restaurant too. Well we just picked up our £40 takeaway and it was appalling! The “mild curry” was yellow and tasted like coronation chicken, the spring rolls and prawn toast looked like they’d been Deep fried for the 5th time!! So overcooked. Never have we not been able to stomach eating something but we had to throw it away. :

What has happened to this place? The padgate rose used to be the best Chinese in warrington, how times have changed. I ordered spicy pork and noodles for collection. The noodles were ok but the pork was just fat. I literally couldn't eat any of it. The sauce the pork was swimming in was tasteless. It ended up in the bin after a few forkfulls. The staff are pig ignorant as well. Never again.
Been here a few times and can never fault the food or service! Attentive staff who go out of their way to help customers. Food is tasty and arrives promptly. A personal favourite is the crispy shredded chicken in spicy honey sauce which I haven’t found anywhere else hence why I keep coming back.
We were charged £39 per person even though the menu stated it was £32 per person. The wait times between courses were unbearable and we were surrounded by people waiting to pick up their takeaway orders. This restaurant is nothing but thieves.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, no matter what you order. The portion sizes are generous, the orders are always ready on time, the prices are reasonable, and the service is exceptional.

The special chow mein was not so special, chicken beef and overcooked prawns, so full of peppers there was barely a noodle in there!
My favourite place for a Chinese meal. The food is always really tasty and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
