On our visits to Charleston we usually have breakfast at the Palmetto Cafe. And most of the time we go through the breakfast buffet. This visit we were a little disappointed as the eggs Benedict which had always been delicious was overcooked and dry. We rebounded with a good omelette however. Next time we may order from the menu. We will return as it is a great place to enjoy breakfast. Fresh OJ and French press coffee is delish
This place is remarkable beginning with Lily(on weekends) as the hostess with the mostess(and I do not mean maybe). The staff is well trained and close to perfect in every way. The buffet is beyond great. Always fresh. The pastry chef must come from pastry heaven. Truly a master at what he does. Food/service/value- the tops.
A little disappointed as it was touted as such a great place. Good service but food was overpriced and not to the standard we expected.
