My wife and I find ourselves dining at this restaurant four days a week, which may be a bit embarrassing. However, I believe the simplicity of the food is what makes it stand out. This is not the place for fancy dishes like fennel-infused salmon with pickled radishes. Instead, it excels at creating delicious dishes like smoked salmon on toast with hollandaise sauce. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is not pretentious. The owner, Matthew, is a legend and makes incredible coffee. The restaurant sources ingredients from local suppliers in the inner west, which is a nice touch. For those with a sweet tooth, the baked goods and muffins are also worth trying.
