Great location and the kitchen is competent, that is the end of the what good I can say about The Perch. Constance,the manager needs to find a job where she doesn't deal with people. I was in charge of picking a restaurant to meet a friend. Five days prior to our get-together I went to The Perch to check out their menu, it looked good, with lots of variety, so I made a reservations for 1:00 p.m the following Thursday on the outside patio over-looking the falls . When I arrived there was no table reserved on the patio and Constance told me no reservations had been made. I told her the day I made it and described the person who I booked it with. The service at this restaurant is quick and friendly. The menu offers a variety of delicious options. We tried the Greek wrap and the Cobb salad, both of which were excellent. However, the fish and chips had too much batter.
I didn't end up ordering at this restaurant because of the wait staff. It was a terrible experience and the environment was unpleasant.
The best veggie pizza and Greek Salad....Worth any wait. A great view of the falls or just take out and enjoy at the cottage.
