I had Indian vegetable curry, it had aubergine, tinda (which I've never heard of before and okra as opposite to your generic frozen veg bag you often get in veg curries. Very good flavour, not too greasy. Naan is also dairy free. One confusing thing was that the same curry on vegan section of the menu costs £2 more than in the vegetarian section...? I didn't argue though, service was good and quick and food delicious, nice decor, I even liked the modern Indian music ;
During our visit to Paisley, we discovered "About Us" in the abbey. This restaurant offers seven vegan dishes that can be enjoyed as a side or main, and they were even able to accommodate our request to make the naan bread vegan as well. The food was all delightful and we were pleased to hear that they are planning to further expand their vegan menu. We will definitely be returning in the future!
The restaurant offers a separate menu for vegans, and the food is delicious. The staff were accommodating and willing to substitute side dishes for us when possible.
