My daughter loves the pies here. There is a nice selection of sweet and savory pies. I had the vegetables and curry pie. My daughter had the pulled pork and apple pie. My husband had beef pie. The dinner pies were a good size and I could have eaten half a pie and would have felt full. The restaurant appears to make their own relish, ketchup, and BBQ sauce. Theses were also quite good. For dessert we split a banana cream pie and a Maltesser pie (a malt chocolate mousse type pie with malted milk balls on top). Both the dessert pies were great. The two young ladies behind the counter were polite so we didn't experience the negative treatment that other reviewers experienced.
The coffee was good, the service was pretty slow, there were two people serving, one was getting the food out of the cabinets for customers and putting on plates to serve to them, the other was serving and making coffee. She should focus more on making a coffee, because she'd start making it, and then someone would come in and she'd leave making the coffee and go and serve them. It was really annoying watching this. I specifically asked for a take away coffee, and because she kept getting distracted, she gave made it in a cup, so then we had to go through the whole lengthy procedure again!

The Pie Tin does amazing sweet and savoury pies. We came here wanting to try the Oreo pie but were disappointed to see they were not available. So we had to settle for the Tim Tam Pie (haha) but it was still amazing. Definitely a must try for people with a sweet tooth, we barely managed to finish the slice between 3 people!

It always stunned me how this place gets a high rating. The cakes are Gluggy with stupid densest crust, and everything served the average tasting at best. Maybe because it is so consistent and persistent, did it develop something of a cult that follows?

Absolutely disgusting service while waiting for your snack, ignore your order, and bring all the others, I'm waiting for 20 minutes, up to two people in the hearing to stop my order and get to other people absolutely ridiculous
My friend likes the cakes. The dessert is very sweet and decadent, so you may have to share for some of them, or after that you have a long walk. The coffee is nice too. Service in order.
Has your pecan nuscakes and pork cake. They were huge. Seriously, you have to go here if you are after a meal, not for a snack. Had also the soy milkshake ... maybe we were so fullly
What a range of pies and sausage rolls!! The pies are large and very filling, freshly baked everyday and are totally the right food when it is a cold
