I am a rib and BBQ snob. Damn, if this isn 't the best take-out I have ever had and is as good as my ribs and chicken. The ribs literally will melt in your mouth. The service? The young men are very, very polite (think Chik-fil-A), but the service for some, may be considered slow. IMHO, the proprietor and his crew, is ensuring that each order is right. The line may be long, but worth the wait!!! They have a customer for life!
Yesterday was my first time at the Pit Stop. While I was in line they ran out of pulled pork so I decided on chicken. Then I had a taste of the chicken salad and decided to get that also. Then I heard someone ask about rib tips and people talking about how delicious they were. I wound up getting all of this PLUS baked beans! All of it was fantastic! I will be going back!
I truly adore this restaurant! Every dish, from the ribs to the chicken salad, is bursting with flavor and has a delightful smoky essence. Don't miss the kale; it's fantastic! And definitely try the pulled pork with the extra tangy coleslaw—it's a must! The staff also always has a positive attitude, and you can really see how much they enjoy their work!
The Pit Stop is the go-to place for BBQ in Loudoun County. You can't go wrong with any of their meats; the chicken is tender, and the ribs are delicious. I really enjoy their kale greens, which have a nice hint of brown sugar. It's definitely worth a visit! Book a table now
They never disappoint- unless they run out of food before we get there which has happened but now we call ahead and place an order so it all good all the time. We stop every time we head to or from WinchesterVa to Cheverly, Md. The Pit Stop rocks!!
Love this place, been going here since they opened up shop with only a single smoker. Great food and great family; the absolute best bbq you can get in the area. Expect a line and show up early, they run out of food fast!
The food is great and well worth the wait! The ribs and chicken are tender and the kale is unbelievable. All of the food is well seasoned. To avoid the wait, you can order ahead of time. Love this place!
Stopped by this afternoon and got ribs,baked beans coleslaw. Had a lot of great tastings while we waited in the hot sun....Grandma's kale smoked chicken salad. Best baked beans I have ever tasted!!! Book a table now
We got the barbeque chicken and it was amazing!! Definitely worth the wait!! The chicken was so tender and the mild barbeque had excellent flavor!! We will be back!
