We held our small wedding reception at this restaurant a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect! We booked the private dining room which accommodates 22 people, just the right size for our intimate celebration. The room was spacious enough for all of us without feeling cramped. We were fortunate to have good weather, so we were also able to enjoy the outdoor decking area which was lovely. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our special day couldn't have been any better. Our guests also had a wonderful time and complimented the beautiful room. I highly recommend this venue for small gatherings. My favourite restaurant !! I’ve only got 10% of a stomach and they are always so incredibly accommodating for me. Nothing is ever too much and I feel like I can enjoy a proper meal here. The pub has beautiful decor and the service is always great. Rachel the manager is always fantastic and makes me and whoever I’m with so very welcome. I love sitting by their open fire, while my partner enjoys one of their many, regularly changing, beers.

I had the vegan Malaysian curry, which was tasty but rather small. the ugly starter was on the spot. I would like to return with a group if they chose the place, but would not hurry back if they were no longer offered choice.
Newly refurbished with a relaxing feel this pub ticks all the boxes for atmosphere. There are a couple of vegan options on the menu labelled and a couple not labelled for some reason that come to light upon enquiry. I had the vegan Malaysian curry which was tasty but quite small. The houmous starter was spot on though. I’d happily return with a group if they chose the place but wouldn’t rush back unless they offered more choice.
