The Plough Harvester

We happened on this Harvester after a morning at the Sutton Leisure Centre, it was around lunchtime with a hungry two year old in the group. It's been a while since I've eaten out and I have to say it was a good experience. We were able to dine in although we hadn't booked, the service was friendly, attentive and efficient. We didn't have many requests but the high chair and children's cutlery we asked for was provided, the restaurant was clean and spacious and getting the bill at the end was a very speedy affair. The food overall was served hot with generous portion sizes and tasty. For a relaxed family meal there was a good selection for everyone, we all left feeling pleased and very full.

I came here with my family yesterday for a meal and everything was lovely. The staff, particularly our waiter, were very polite. The salad bar is still available, but a worker will serve your portions. Refillable drinks are still an option. I highly recommend the Purist Burger and the Chocolate Orange Slice. I will definitely be returning.

Visited quite a few times and it can be hit or miss depending on the staff. The salad bar is similar, sometimes there's good variation and the bar is clean, other times it hasn't been replenished and the selection is less. Food is mostly above average, although portion size is variable. I will return again as it is good value meal out.

There were seven of us who ordered a variety of dishes. All the food arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. We were served by a very friendly gentleman named Charlie.

Not a pleasant experience staff are good but a long wait for drinks and food.
