Great local spot to watch the sports and the atmosphere is definitely better than most pubs around. However, they are not adequately prepared for when it gets busy especially during obvious times such as big sports matches etc. They were unable to keep up with orders at the bar and half of the menu items were unavailable due to running out of key ingredients. This is easy to fix with some planning ahead by management. The food that was available was great and the overall atmosphere is good too and they have tv’s everywhere. Would recommend on casual days, not when there are big televised events though.
We went to the Pond House again today. Probably our fifth or sixth visit recently. Having previously spoken to the staff who were working today there was no welcome or even acknowledgement of us being there. The service was slow, almost reluctant I'd say. It's definitely not the welcome/service we enjoy at other Greene King venues. I suggest the staff visit the Wee Waif, The King's Head or The Old Five Bells for customer service training, its very much needed. Unlikely to return sadly.
Debbie and Jackie were fantastic. I couldn’t ask for better customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and looked after the dogs as if they were their own. I’ll never go anywhere else thank you

This pub is the best I have visited in years. Trip advisor you need more stars 10 stars for everything. Food hospitality friendliness. It's got everything. No make that 11 stars.
Went for lunch with family, the pub is very family friendly excellent service from the staff. Pricing is reasonable and food is lovely.
Just called at the pond house in maidenhead for a bite to eat, friendly staff great burger and nice place.will call back again .
