The Prince - Table reservation

Lol I think the reviews of this pub show that some of the clientele are slightly wanky, which so far makes that my main complaint: reviewers seem to have perfectly nice experiences with minor complaints, but somehow still only deign to give it 3 stars. I'm mostly giving 5 (vs not bothering tbh) to balance out the nonsense. Cosy, lovely pub, okay drink selection, and the food I've had was nice so far. Obviously these other people have never worked in hospitality before or they'd be a little less hoity toity

I hosted my bday here, and they called the day of to let me know the table was double booked needless to say I was stressed! However, they found me another table with a little shifting and were really lovely sorting me out gave me some bottle of champagne and a voucher. Thanks so much to Will for sorting my party! The staff here are lovely

One of my favourite local pubs in the area. Fulfills a lot of key pub criteria 1) off a main road, 2) relaxed outdoor seating, 3) menu not trying to be something it's not, 4), decent selection of beers beyond the boring Hell's Lager and Beaverton Neck Oil. The Londesborough round the corner is also very good and in a similar vein.

Great lunch on Sunday! Had a warm local pub vibe. It always makes a difference when the engraving of scratches, along with homemade Yorkshire puddings!! The only thing I would like to be more is the diversity of the Veg. It's great to see a pub fuller when you look at the times we live in. You'll see me again. Thank you.

Good pub and good roast but a lot of the pork belly wasn't tasty/edible. The gravy was so generous; veggies excellent and service lovely. A super **** mary and nice wine. Would recommend!
