I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My party of six had to wait over half an hour to be seated. When a table for four became available, there were no extra chairs, which was frustrating—folding chairs would have been a welcome solution. The menu was limited, and the fish in the fish and chips was so overcooked that even a knife couldn't salvage it. The curry chicken was served in a bowl of soggy French fries, which was unappealing. The burger was also a letdown. However, I do want to give five stars to the servers for their efforts. Service: Dine in.
I had a steak from the special menu, medium. Perfectly cooked, green beans were fresh, mash was deliciously seasoned. Excellent brownie sunflower. Small beer selection, but a lot of options. Great atmosphere and decoration. No disturbance of the device, but can be loud, depending on current occupants and seats. Parking is difficult, but not forbiding. I once found a place after the circle, and that was on a Friday an hour after work, so it is to be expected. Definitely will return.
I've never been there. But was getting together with two friends that were equidistant from this area. And we selected the Ravens nest because we heard good things about it. It was good food good atmosphere We can talk comfortably. We chose to sit inside versus outside. But one thing you don't usually read and reviews is the bathrooms were nice and clean. And you know if the bathrooms are nice and clean then the kitchen is likely nice and clean they care for what people see.
Kid-friendliness: Pub style restaurant with full bar seating inside outside weather permitting. I was there for lunch and there were many families with children dining. Great ambiance. Drinks were delicious and strong. The food was very good and the homemade sauces were incredible.
