Visited here on the first night of our holiday as it was only 5mins walk from our holiday cottage. Nice welcome on arrival. The lady serving seemed quite nervous, but we would find out they had only just taken over the place. The restaurant was a bit lacking on atmosphere when we arrived as there was no-one else there and there was no music playing. This soon changed as the place filled up though. Food here was wonderful. We had a sharer platter to start with spicy chicken pieces, breaded chicken bites, cheesy bread, onion rings, breaded mushrooms along with 3 lovely dips. For my main I had the chilli which just needed a tad more salt to make it delicious. Hubby had the steak which was beaut...
We called in by chance for lunch at this charming pub. We were a party of four, two adults and two young children. The staff were so kind and accommodating, especially with the little ones. The food was served very promptly and was exactly what we needed good sandwiches for the adults and the chosen chicken nuggets, peas and fries for the little ones. Everything was well presented. The surroundings were pleasant and the owners clearly take good care of their attractive pub. What stood out most was the quality of service we received on a very hot and tiring day.
My husband, brother, and I visited the area and decided to try out The Red Hart for the first time. We chose the Indian menu and were impressed with the variety of dishes we shared. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Our friendly and attentive waitress, Shona, made the evening extra special for us. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Karen, Trev, and Paul.
Wanted to support the Red Hart on bringing Indian Takeaway to the area. But was disappointed with the quality of the food supplied especially as was being cooked and supplied by an Indian establishment. Had I been in the restaurant it would have been returned to the chef. Will not be re-ordering sorry

Great Sunday Lunch, nicely cooked meat and veg, good portions and hot. Apple Crumble and Treacle pudding with custard for sweet very nice. Lovely food at a good price. Staff are really friendly and welcoming with nice homely atmosphere. It was that good we booked for lunch next Thursday and Sunday.
We recently had the best breakfast we've had in a long time at this restaurant. The service and prices were top-notch. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great start to their day. We will definitely be back for another delicious experience.
Don’t waste your time. We both had the roast beef it looked and tasted like processed meat. Soggy vegetables, the only thing that was lovely were the roast potatoes. The menu was very limited.
We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and each visit has exceeded our expectations. The steak night on Monday was particularly amazing. It's a shame that the restaurant isn't busier.
