Great village pub, plenty of off road parking, safe and secure for cars and motorcycles. Good Guinness, even better Madri and amazing Cheese and Onion rolls made fresh and on the day! Maybe have to start visiting more often and hopefully Cheese and Ham or Cheese and pickle may make an appearance. All joking aside great pub, pleasant team and a nice sized garden for enjoying the sun and summer in. Looking forward to visiting again with friends.
many thanks to sue and the team that they look after us again! had my 30th birthday afternoon tee here, it was perfect, venue, eating, personal, everything beautiful! we had also baptized our sons here in December, also perfect! nothing is ever too much annoyed, personal are all so friendly and helpful and eating is always great. beautiful small apartment!
The Red Lion is a hidden gem in the area. The hosts are great and very welcoming, offering lunch Monday to Friday with a fantastic menu at reasonable prices. They also have a lovely garden at the back with a marquee and function facilities that we highly recommend. David and Sue, the owners, go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy.
