If there was a no stars that is what they would have received. Only 2 tables in pub eating. We waited over 20 mins for main course. Starter mushrooms . These were greasy as anything. Main course had obviously sat under heat ..peas like bullets and boiling hot tartar sauce on the plate in a metal bowl which had also been left under heat in the kitchen . We was forgotten about totally. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Its awefull !
Lovely place, sadly we were there for a funeral, but everything was exemplary. The staff were helpful and respectful. The buffet they put on was fabulous just one tiny thing, it would’ve helped if they could’ve marked what was vegetarian and what wasn’t, or sectioned it off in some way, as it was all mixed together. Apart from that, I can’t fault them. The cookies were amazing, I’d give 5 stars for those alone!
Food was served cold, tasteless. Meat was served very undercooked. Desert was worst no mergiue or fruit in an Eton mess. Took 40min 1 hour to clear the table away and only cleared the table when asked when they were bringing the deserts to the table. Definitely won't be returning, we will find another place
We've visited a number of ember inns. This is the best one. The food came out just cooked and red hot. It looked and tasted superb. The service was spot on. Nice friendly staff. Well done. If there was one fault it's the toilets. The smell of damp was overpowered by air freshener. Book a table now
The food at this restaurant is of amazingly good quality, the staff is friendly, and you are welcomed by the smile of Jim, the new Pub Manager. The atmosphere and service have been outstanding since he took over. This pub definitely deserves a 5-star rating.
We had a wonderful afternoon with friends at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic. Emma, in particular, always makes us smile.
This is the best pub in town with reasonable prices and excellent service. It's the only place in Knowle where you can enjoy a drink without being overcharged.
How can you just close the bar when you feel like it oh it's gone quiet when people want to give you money!!!!! Book a table now
