The River Hut Bar Restaurant Cafe

Visited end of November for a birthday meal having been quite a few times before. Pate starter was sloppy, 3x main course steaks were overcooked and dry even though medium done was requested. 2x burgers came out with a steak knife holding the burger together instead of a wooden skewer as previously! When I questioned the waiter he didn't think a knife was odd but made eating the burger difficult as you couldn't eat round it as before. Change of management/owner in September 2017 but unfortunately the magic has been lost and we'll not be going back.

The River Hut was actually SO cute on the inside, and the food was great. Fish chips a wee bit soggy, but the burger was incredible, and the service was fantastic. Will definitely be back for one of the themed nights!

Very loud (not easy to chat and could not even hear the music) bit expensive
