The River Restaurant

Love the location and patio but had the worse nachos ever. They put dill pickles, chunks of white onion and a terrible sweet bbq sauce on them. When we said we really didn't like them the server talked to the kitchen and the response was food is too expensive and they wouldn't replace them without these ingredients that should never be on nachos. The strawberry daiquiri was also disgusting. I didn't bother mentioning it considering the response to the nachos. The server was very nice and the only reason I gave 2 stars

The waitress was friendly, but I felt the food was too expensive. The only available clean table was situated near a door that delivery personnel kept using during our entire meal. Because it was cold and windy outside, each time the door opened, our napkins would fly around and we would feel chilled. It would be appreciated if the restaurant staff could use the appropriate service entrance.

While we were passing through the area, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great so we couldn't dine outside, but the deck looked inviting. The menu had some interesting options, like sliced dill pickles in dill dip (which we had never tried before) and fried pepperoni. The food was delicious and we would give it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.

A nice place with good food and great staff.Their debit machine was down the day we dined, but it was still guide busy. The staff was run off their feet, but still managed a smile a prompt service. Definitely worth another visit.Food: 4/5

Good food, good atmosphere, and great staff. There is an outdoor patio that is very popular and inside is very nice with a pub on one side and a nice dining room on the other. All areas can accommodate larger parties.Food: 5/5
