Went to dinner on a busy night in Marshfield. Rivers didn't look that busy so we decided to get for the first time. Friend and I got to the bar which the bartender seen us and said he'd be right back to serve us our drinks. There were 4 people at the bar. We waited for 5 minutes til our 3 party arrived. No service at the bar yet so decided to get seated. Place had about 5 tables with people. We got seated and given menus. Brought us water and took our food order. Didn't see the waiter til he brought our food. One person ordered chicken ceaser salad and my friend and I had burgers and fries. Waiter never took drink order. But we did have water. We were the first ones in the place. We were seated and waited 10 minutes before someone came to our table. Meanwhile another couple came in and were seated. They were able to order shortly after they were seated while we still did not have anyone come to our table. Finally the bartender came and took our order. We watched the other couple get their food and eat their meal. 45 minutes after we ordered I asked about our food cause the bartender never came back and was busy in the bar. The lady came back and said there was a problem with the printer and our order never went in. There were just the 2 tables and could not get things right. Will never go back and will not suggest anyone go there.
My friend and I visited your restaurant for the first time tonight, and I have to say everything was absolutely outstanding! For an appetizer, we tried the Ranch Dusted Cheese Curds, and I highly recommend them! For our main courses, we ordered the Prime Rib Stroganoff and the Cajun Chicken, both of which were packed with flavor! Our server Paula was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our first visit a pleasure. Kudos to the kitchen staff for a fantastic dinner and overall experience! We will definitely be returning!
My wife and I visited The Rivers for their December Date Night Special. For just $50, we enjoyed a shared appetizer, a duck each, individual desserts, and a bottle of wine. The food was fantastic, the wine was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

Honestly the food was okay I biscuits and gravy seemed like the kitchen was overwhelmed my friend had ordered a mushroom ham and cheese omelette and she got they were overwhelmed by the volume of people in the restaurant the young man serving restaurant did a good job but one guy can't make 16
Brought my mom here for her birthday dinner, and our meals were amazing!! Service was so good, everything was clean, and we had the best time : the ribeye and the chicken piccata meals were so good!!! We will be back 100% Some music would be a great addition to the environment ?
Friendly staff, knowledge and fun to speak. Good selection of Wisconsin craft beer bottles. Overall a good place to hang out. They close at 9:30 a week, but unlike that, they love it.
Went for a ladies event where we had rented the small room. Our server Brian was attentive and accommodating. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with fries. It was very tasty!
