Had lunch here for the first time in years and the food was superb. I had the rib-eye which was perfectly grilled, perfectly cooked, and perfectly rested. Partner had fish and chips which sounds ordinary but was delectable with perfect battering and cooking time. Even the vegetables were premium produce that was delicately cooked and served appealingly. Thanks to the excellent chef at the Riv who cooked our lunch for us on Wednesday 16-08 - we really loved your attention to detail and we'll be back for more.
Compliments the Chefs!.. A very quick reminder on Undercooking Cooking Vegies (Carrots). Chips would be more enjoyable if they were Cooked longer, No so pale in colour. Fri staff not so friendly, lst question was have you made a booking instead of Hi or Welcome. A great local that we enjoy going to. We usually go to the sports bar but have also eaten in the bistro as well, staff are always friendly. Food is tasty and fair prices. The play area is smaller and could do with an upgrade and if they ever get approved for a roof top bar, that would be a real hit.
Riviera is a must go have a meal there place. We have been twice in a short time, the meals are first class, very reasonably priced, the staff can not do enough for you, and the service is tops. I meant to take some photos but forgot so next time. Anyway, check it out yourself. You won't be sorry.

First time visitor. Loved it all. Not an overly large hotel but pleasant, friendly staff. Very helpful too. Extensive menu, so much so that our group will be back to work our way through it. Drinks good prices. Tri IA night was going gangbusters while we were there.
