So we moved near here but due to lockdown spent months imagining what it's like. Now we've been a few times, great pub, lovely decor inside and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced for most drinks, and the burgers are great. They're not the fat juicy burgers I normally see, it was more reminiscent of a bbq burger and it was a nice change. Loved the smokiness of the patty.
We were served by a delightful lady at this restaurant. We had a breakdown on the A629 on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. The bar staff were incredibly helpful and offered us a place to stay to keep warm. The food was amazing and it's a great spot to stay warm on chilly evenings. Even though we're not from the area, we would definitely return if we lived nearby. Thank you!
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant while staying nearby. The food was of exceptional quality, reminiscent of homemade, hearty pub fare that is becoming increasingly rare to find. Sunday lunch service was a little slow, but it was worth waiting for. I would recommend this establishment to all of my friends. Beer choice was limited to Tim Taylor's Boltmaker, but the pint I had was great. Keep up the good work guys. Seemed a very young team, but they did everything necessary to keep us happy. The food at this restaurant was excellent, with quick service and friendly staff. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be returning. There is a good selection of gluten-free options and they also have a separate fryer for the chips, which is great.
Ordered 3 pints which all tasted off, maybe the pipes weren't cleaned properly but we all woke up feeling rough even after only one drink. The bartender was slightly rude which didn't help either.
A lovely clean and welcoming place. Had a lovely meal served by a lovely friendly lady from behind the bar. Also nice to see dogs welcome too.. Keep up the good work...5* service
Ate here for a Sunday lunch, food ok but nothing special, pub clean and tidy, service fine, TVs with sport on but not too many customers so no great atmospgere Book a table now
Decent pub, friendly staff that have a laugh. Not snobby. Pool table and they have quiz nights etc. Good pub, great parking. Nothing negative to say
