my twin brother stepped and I were in the pub, the lawrence street when we decided to fall into the rose crown pub, a pub that is a special favorite of ours. this is such a traditional pub,interior is excellent, a solid wood can beservable dominates the main room,big furnishings and furnishings in this multi-room pub,tw’s, to enjoy the sport and many seating options, kossy best fass this pub. we were here on an icy cold night, pub was warm and absolutely packed,quiz night,big atmosphere, we were warmly welcomed by a very pleasant merciful, we had a study about their real ale’s and we both decided to have timothy taylor’s brewery rentals vibrate, these pale ale’s were served in excellent cond...
Just back from a birthday weekend in York. We stopped 2 nights at the Rose Crown and I can honestly say that we were well looked after. The room was very good and the breakfasts were perfect ... full English ofcourse We also ate twice in the pub the food was excellent, the large chips are amazing and the pies are quality. It is probably less than 10 mins walk into York and has good parking at the pub, so no need to use the car.
the first time in york for a birthday contract traveled from n wales. remained in the rose and krone. good, what a great place, friendly staff. excellent eating breakfast and dinner and great atmosphere in a beautiful pub. the room was perfect and 6 minutes to walk to the center. thank you for your hospitality rose and crown. diolch
beautiful pub with really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. ideally located if you need a stop after the show in barbican, but only outside the city walls as well as for the rest of york. room was clean and very comfortable, good breakfast recommended.
