The Royal George - Table reservation

To be honest, it was really nice to eat. the calamari and garnelen were good and so was brot mezze starter. However, they could be shocked for a bad shock when they order the garlic mushrooms. These oversized mushrooms come tasteless, grilled and where they are missing in cream and garlic, they form in a large pool of dark sloggy water at the bottom of the dish.

I went to the Christmas dinner and bingo, I have to say that I was not impressed, the tables were decorated with a plastic cloth, no napkins, we had to ask, the turkey was cold. Very small portion size. Mince pies were put on the table, but we couldn’t buy a coffee as they had no milk or cream. I dont think I’ll be going back.

so great pub. the plate of the hunter (on the photo was really tasty, lots of eating on the teller when they feel hungry. also the Asian plate looked good. they also serve the best beer of bridport a selection of palmers brewery. in any case recommend this big pub in west coker.

Pies and puddings! Great concept! Great staff that managed our order 12 people) easily. Old-world pub with fireplace and low ceilings.

Great traditional pub in the heart of a thriving village. Great atmosphere friendly staff and good food.
