I've already come here for a reason and can't blame the place. it is classic, personal are great and service is also good with these coviding restrictions. actually the one disorder that I can apply (because nothing perfect) is the 10 cramps that they get when they are a bowl of cramping at £ 1.50... except this miniscule edition I would recommend definitiw, the place for drinks at least. can not comment, cooked food, as I did not eat here.
Had gentleman's afternoon tea, filling and tasty, but unfotunately didn't have a menu on the table and part of it was substituted and we weren't made aware until after when we found out what was missing. Waiter just shrugged it off. Pleasant venue, tasty food, nice presentation, staff could have been more attentive. Have been previously for tea at the weekend, am likely to visit again but not mid-week.
A very nice dinning room. Sadly the initial buzz of the place seems to have died and there were few tables occupied. The wine list is good and realistic. The food was in the main excellent. Steak slightly under. Lamb slightly over. Nicely presented. Overall very good. The waiters were excellent. Less so the waitress. She was more transport cafe than fine dining. Shame really.
The cocktails were tasty and served promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. The upstairs dining area was charming and well arranged. The timing between courses was just right. The food was served hot and very fresh. Overall, it was a delightful experience! Book a table now
came to the groundless brunch last month. it was wonderful. background music with dj, the cocktails flow. great service. that was nice to eat. I couldn't recommend it enough. I hope they will make more offers after the current lock off as these!
We were not very impressed with the limited menu at this restaurant. We were expecting more options for an a la carte menu, especially considering the price. We were hoping for something more than just typical pub food.
The food was good, apart for the fish and chips meal, fish batter soft and bit crispy. Dissapointed. The two gentleman waiters were great and really good at there nob roles. Overall we will return in the future.
We had a dreadful Saturday night meal.the vegetarian food was very bad and exceptionally overpriced. I won't recommend it to anyone. It used just to be very good but has dreadfully gone downhill. Book a table now
