good selection of beer, very good eating too very reasonable trips, always a good pub to fall. often busy the week, which is a good sign of quality eating beer and excellent management. quiz nights (not my thing) are popular and actually a good time to sit, drink beer and listen to the friendly village mother. my choice of the pub when visiting medomsley.

for Sunday lunch today it was just perfect as always I as busy as the staff in the royal oak as they are they are to have a chat it is so friendly . great personal great eating I would recommend this pub for all my friends

Went for a meal with dales family for diamond wedding anniversary staff very efficient and meals lovely
