The Royal Oak Inn - Table reservation

Popped in last night for some food. Caroline Phil were outstanding hosts (as they always are . The Ale (Dartmoor Legend was wonderful but the highlight was the homemade Steak Ale Pie (with Mash of course . Caroline’s pet hate is a bad pie ; If you want a proper pub (not many like these left please take my heed and pay a visit :

Lovely old proper pub, no fancy plastic bits! Full of interesting moments, much of which are naval. Owners friendly and welcoming, good beer.

Limited menu due to lack of kitchen facilities but food good and service friendly
