During our two-night stay in July, we were on the lookout for a dining spot, and the hotel staff suggested the Rubi Slipper. My wife and I decided to check it out, and I must say, we ended up dining there both nights! On our first visit, we opted for tacos since we were unsure what to choose. I had the classic fried tacos and the double-wrapped variety, while my wife enjoyed the Cool Cream tacos. Both were fantastic, but I especially loved the double-wrapped tacos.
I get the privilege of going to Alamosa twice a month but I am not normally there in time to eat out. After talking to a few of the locals the ruby slipper came up with every person. I decided to try it. Every meal is made separately and with fresh ingredient in an area about the size of a kitchen table. When you go make sure you save room for dessert.
Love it! I've only tried a quarter of what's on the menu, and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it—great food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service! It's always busy, but the wait is definitely worth it. I'm a regular customer!
The restaurant was lively and bustling with energy. The burgers were delicious, and there was an impressive variety to choose from. The desserts looked fantastic, but we were too full to try any. The service was excellent. Book a table now
I visited for the first time in August 2020 and had a fantastic experience. I was fortunate enough to return this year, and once again, the food and service were exceptional! You can count on seeing me again!
This restaurant is outstanding. The chefs are exceptional, and the service was fantastic. I ordered a hulker and I'm completely full! It was delicious, and the overall experience was very impressive.
