Has gone drastically down hill over the years got 2 burnt fish, 2 burnt battered sausages and chips ok will sorry edible. It took me at least 15mins to get served and at least another half hour to get my food. Threw it out before I thought about leaving a review hence why I don’t have a picture. Try for yourself if you don’t believe me craziness how hard it is to find a good chippy nowadays.
Great team of staff who work there all are really polite and friendly and enjoying themself while working. Deli burger is incredible and I try and get one at least once a week, would recommend to anyone looking a chippie in holywood to try the ruddy duck it’s the best in the town by far
I went to the restaurant on a Saturday and even though I was the first in line, the lady answered the phone twice and took orders from other customers before me. Unfortunately, I later discovered that they were out of all types of fish. I ended up leaving without dining there.
Cod supper lovely crispy batter, cod pure white and falls off the fork, proper chippy chips (if you know, you know). Perfect, for the price of fish nowadays this means nothing less will do and they do it perfectly Book a table now
Got dinner at the Ruddy duck tonight… Most disgusting meal I have ever had, through all of it in the bin… Waste of money and time £30 down the drain. Absolutely disgusting, I will never ever go back
Sitting in Tuesday we both had a trio supper have to say its the best I have had in some time fish fillets nice chunky, fish flaked off the fork a lovely light batter Recommend the Trio Supper!
The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. We visited during lunchtime but they kindly allowed us to order from the evening menu.
