My first and last experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I went with friends for a meal, but we were disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered the beef short rib, which was tough and dry due to being a fatty cut. The dish lacked sauce and the vegetables were bland, though the Dauphinois potatoes were tasty. My wife ordered a rare flat iron steak, but it arrived medium rare and was tough to chew. When we brought this up to the staff, they initially claimed we should have ordered it differently, but eventually admitted the mistake. Very Good. There was some little things that could have made it better. We started off in the bar. They can not give change because they don't have a float? Really? Once everyone had turned up we went over to our table. Taking the orders was quick and the food turned up fast. Once we finished the meal some of us ordered coffee, that took a long time to turn up (the place was not busy . The food was excellent scotched egg, main and desert. The dirty chips was amazing! great evening! the personal is very attentive, nothing too much annoyed. three courses of delicious food, take on sampi with vegetables in a minty creamy sauce, then a perfectly cooked steak and then the most beautiful white chocolate and pfirsich cream brûlée washed with prosecco. hubby had a fish curry followed by panacotta he said was excellent. the restaurant was beautifully decorated and it was nice to see the chefs in the kitchen! wonderful.
Really lovelu atmosphere, nice decoration. We only popped in for a coffee and a starter in the middle of a bikeride and it was great. We had cappuccinos and the meat and foccaccia platter. Will definitely come back to try some cocktails and mains. Desserts also looked great and fhe place is huge! Outside area, sort of cafe area, a back part, upstairs area and also a terrace.

that was a nice lunch! every morsel was delicious and the pantinacotta with lavender angel was divine! the personal was just the right mix of friendly and professional and the much improved decoration is stylish, contemporary and relaxing.
we had our high-time reception there. the staff was excellent from beginning to end and we had a nice day. setting, service, eating, love to detail all the first class. we go to a jubilee dinner every year. great memories, many thanks.
Food was fantastic and they were able to cater extremely well for Gluten Free Dairy Free options. One of the best meals I have had out recently Can’t wait to come back soon! COVID 19 restrictions were brilliant too!
Superb ambience, great service, clean toilets, easy parking. Lovely out door seating, dog friendly. Food ok. Need more vegetarian choice. Nice place to go for a relaxed meal or an occasion
