During the COVID era of takeout, I was thrilled to discover an amazing Cuban sandwich at The Sandwich Shop. Any true Cuban sandwich lover will tell you that the key lies in the right bread and the way the pork is cooked—and they have both nailed in their El Cubano! They add just the right amount of pickles and cheese, making this one of my favorite sandwiches on their menu. The only drawback is that you need to order it early because it’s a top seller. They cook the pork overnight (the authentic way) and serve it fresh each day, but once it’s sold out, it’s gone! It’s so delicious that I can only treat myself to one every couple of months, or I would end up gaining a lot of weight!

This is my favorite spot in the neighborhood—it's truly a hidden gem. I feel a real sense of comfort in Chef Clarisa's cooking. The sandwiches are packed with flavor, and they come with delicious sauces, onions, pickles, and all the wonderful extras that elevate the dish—just delicioso! Every soup she creates is fantastic, and I usually don't even like soup, but she has me wondering if perhaps one could live on soup alone. Seriously, it's that good! You won’t be disappointed with the pumpkin, tomato, zucchini, pea, and black bean soups. Thank me later for introducing you to this place. Enjoy!
I haven't been to the shop itself but we order lunch at work from here REGULARLY!!! Anytime we're tired of last night's leftovers, everyone is always up for Sandwich Shop. I'm tasting my way through the menu and haven't been disappointed in anything. Every sandwich is packed, never shy with the toppings, and tastes amazing! A must try, if you haven't yet.
Such kind people, fast service, and great food! I ordered delivery and they called me immediately to let me know they didn’t have something I had asked for in the order, apologized sincerely, and explained to me all the options that I could get. So thoughtful and kind! I got the Latin bowl and it was sooooo tasty! Great flavors and portions.

I ordered a Tuna melt, but I received a call saying they were out of tuna. They suggested a chicken and avocado sandwich instead, and wow, it was a perfect 10/10! Such a delicious sandwich. A big shout-out to the chef for creating great food. Now, I don't think any other sandwich shop can compare to this one!
I'm here visiting my son. Just walked over to the Sandwich Shop to grab some lunch. LOVED my tuna on a brioche bun....... DELICIOUS! The sides were amazing too....... potato salad and those pink slivered onions....... Mmmm mmmmm good! Thanks to a great team, for the wonderful lunch!
I had a decent Tuna Melt here, but I only chose it because they were out of many sides and other sandwiches on the menu. I might return to try some other options, but I'm not convinced it was worth the price compared to getting a good loaded sandwich from a deli.
Incredible Sandwiches! I ordered the Penzini, and it was a delightful explosion of flavors, enhanced by a delicious fig sauce. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend!
