I was very disappointed with the food and service at this restaurant. The dish I wanted to order was unavailable, so I had to choose something else. What arrived was not what I expected and was inedible to me, so I returned it immediately. I was shocked to see that I was charged full price for the dish on my bill. The bar manager insisted that what I received was what was on the menu, despite two items missing and the dish looking poorly put together. I had hoped for a discount or an apology, but received neither. It seems like this establishment is not interested in building good relationships with the local community.
Excellent , friendly , professional service as always , but so disappointed with my usual fish and chips, the batter is not the same. Looked and tasted cheap and nasty. Sad as we love eating in the Saracens. Need a better menu.
Limited menu! Ordered fish chips, however I got a 3” tail of haddock that was over cooked and tasteless. Chips had been re heated and were rock hard and also tasteless. Never again will I eat here!
Lovely atmosphere with great service pork belly and fish chips were both excellent highlight of the meal was the crumble with custard! Molly and Laura were attentive on what was a busy evening!
