The Scale - Table reservation

First, I want to mention that I rarely write reviews, but this place is certainly deserving of one! We were driving from New Hampshire and really hungry. I was looking for places near our Airbnb and found this place on a whim. I ordered online and we picked up the food and ate it outside. Everything about the poke bowl was amazing. The Firecracker sauce was delicious and spicy and the ahi tuna was perfect. Maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and certainly the best meal I ate on our week-long trip to New England! Sadly, we don’t live in the area.

The service was outstanding. I arrived while they were busy with online orders, and they informed me there would be a wait of 20 to 30 minutes. However, they surprised me by bringing my order in under 10 minutes, all with a smile! The food was good, with naturally fresh ingredients, but I found it to be quite salty. I opted for the standard shell, so perhaps trying a different option would have been a better choice.

This restaurant might serve the best poke in Vermont. They offer incredibly creative ingredients, like the gochujang mushrooms, which are a must-try for any poke bowl. Additionally, their online ordering system functions seamlessly, and the staff is well-informed about the ingredients.

Both our Firecracker (Ahi) Bowl and Citrus Ponzu Shrimp Bowl were excellent. All ingredients were incredibly fresh, beautiful and perfectly prepped. The flavor combinations were thrilled.
