I had a lovely evening at The Stars. The food was exquisite; the pork belly was crispy and juicy, truly delightful. The pub maintained a consistent flow of diners throughout the night, and the staff were friendly and always ready to take drink orders. The prices were very reasonable for such a high-quality meal. I will definitely be returning!
We had a wonderful dining experience, especially with two children under four in tow for a family dinner on Mother's Day. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the evening enjoyable. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I just wish we lived closer, but unfortunately, Dorset is too far for a lunch visit!
Came to celebrate our first anniversary and were not disappointed with the food! It was delicious. Service wasn't rushed at all but could have been a little faster, other than that everything was lovely! £8.95 for an individual prosecco was a little on the pricey side but was delicious all the same
Last night, I visited the place straight from work in my worn-out clothes. The staff made us feel very welcome, and we enjoyed an excellent pint of Thatchers cider in the beer garden while waiting for our takeaway fish and chips. I can't recall having better fish and chips in a long time! Book a table now
I decided to indulge in dessert and chose the white chocolate bubble, which I absolutely loved—especially the crunchy, caramelized top! It was served with homemade honeybee and a shortbread biscuit. The waitress was lovely, making for a wonderful lunchtime experience overall. Well done!
The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delightful—each bite felt like it melted in your mouth. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, retaining their flavors instead of being boiled to lose them. I will definitely make it a point to return soon!
