The Shep is the perfect place for your private events! Our family celebrated our son's first birthday party here, as we needed a place that could well accommodate 77 people. I can't do enough about the flexibility in designing your personalized menu, the kindness of staff, the ability to decorate the entire restaurant to your theme, and the general satisfaction in the meals and drinks of the day. Before the event, the owner was extremely helpful in selecting shell sizes for the number of people we had participated in the event. During the event, the owner and the rest of the staff would often check in with us to ensure that we had everything we needed. They were also for special dishes that...
The Shep!! This place is such a fantastic establishment and everything you could want when it comes to a sports bar in Hoboken. Solid bar food, pretty affordable drinks, tons of beer choices, plenty of TVs, and weekly live music and trivia. Great place to watch NFL football too. The Shep also has some pretty awesome people working there. Gary and Anthony are two of my favorite people, always make me smile, and are top notch servers/bartenders. (Also, shout out to Alex, Amalia, and Alejandro for great service and food too! Shep a/k/a best bar in Hoboken!
We discovered this restaurant before heading to Trader Joe's down the street. The service was excellent, and they have a large variety of beers available. The food was delicious - I enjoyed the fish tacos and my friend liked her tuna salad. There are multiple TVs to watch sports games, and when we were there, they were showing college football. It seems like a great spot to watch a game while enjoying food and drinks.
Great service, delicious food and drinks, and friendly staff. I left my wallet at the bar and the bouncer kindly returned it to me. This small gesture speaks volumes about the people who work here.
