A lovely little pub! After a walk in the Sankey Valley at the back, we realized we hadn’t eaten lunch, so we decided to stop in for a bite. The place was completely empty, but the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was excellent! We will definitely visit again!
I enjoyed a delightful house-boiled roast dinner along with a glass of wine, which offered excellent value for money. It was much appreciated after a long walk with our dog. We felt warmly welcomed, both for ourselves and our dog. Thank you!
After a stroll through Sankey Park, I stopped by for a much-needed pint, and it did not disappoint!
