absolutely one of the best dinners we had all year round. excellent in every look, but above all the taste profiles of each plate. they could make a reservation or plan to have a pint down before they dinner. taste the cullen skink (in the states that we call this fish case) and the seafood pie two of the best I have ever eaten and I am over 60 years old and reasonably priced considering that we could not eat all our dinners with just a common skink and our own evening. we have taken home enough for another dinner. the house wine was also cheap and great.

it is not the cheapest pub in the ferry through a long chalk, but eating is well above average and the location is not just above the road from the river. we go at least once a month and like to sit on one of the external or protected benches when the wind is up. The Steak Pie and the fish and chips are particularly popular.

Thanks to your reviews we walked along to The Ship Inn with our old cocker spaniel. Made welcome and had their home made fish pie alongside a Puffer beer, both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was very tasty . Would definitely recommend

Visited with some family for a birthday. The food was great with huge portions. I had the lasagna followed by sticky toffee pudding. Couldn't fault a single part of the dinner. Especially the staff, nothing was an issue or a problem.

My son and I stopped here on a whim on 6/11/22, during our travels. What a great find...and a neat place to grab a pint! Great atmosphere and friendly people. Cheers!
