We held our wedding reception at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the location was fantastic, especially since the children enjoyed watching the passing trains. The service and staff were excellent - very attentive, cheerful, and upbeat. Highlights of the hotel included a great view, a quiet atmosphere, kid-friendly accommodations, and great value for the price.
A unique style of restaurant, with dining in disused train carriages. The food was lovely and reasonably priced, portion sizes were reasonable too and would definitely recommend leaving room for the Bougatsa. Service with a smile...kind of, definitely with banter though! We had a nice evening and would come back the next time we're in the area.
I had a fantastic lunch with delicious food and excellent service at this restaurant. Although there was no service fee included, it was a joy to leave a tip. The unique setting of dining in an old railway car added to the experience and watching the trains go by made it even more enjoyable. It was a perfect way to end a birthday weekend.

Lovely restaurant and staff, as always. Been 4x now. It was nice to meet the chef also. The food was superb.. A good environment and service. Stayed over in one of the cabins, breakfast was lovely. Fresh coffee and a nice chilled atmosphere. Will return in the future.
I was really impressed by the sidings the decor of train pictures and the little bits of history everywhere it was lovely. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent I will definitely be going again next time I’m in York
