I came here with my meat eating family, despite their initial reservations that I would have chosen some hippy vegan place and all were pleasantly surprised. Formerly known as The Polish Café, there are still a number of Polish specialties particularly the stuffed cabbage leaves which went down very well. The staff were absolutely delightful, especially the woman (whose name I did not get) who was wonderful, really polite and friendly. We tried the vegan lazanki and a vegan version of apple pie for dessert. The lazanki was one of my all-time favorite meals, even before I went vegan. The pasta was bursting with flavor, and the fresh side vegetables complemented the dish perfectly. The apple pie was not overly sweet, with a lovely taste. The owner was very kind and welcoming. I'm thrilled to have found such excellent vegan options! Updated from my previous review on October 9, 2023.

had never had Polish eating, and assumed that it was very meat based, so was delighted to go here and have excellent vegan food. the menu changes regularly, and we booked in advance to dinner as they are very busy in the evening. two vegan starters on the day we visited: suppe des tages beetroot and pasta dishes, which could be either an appetizer or pornstar. for the first I had aubergine bags that was excellent.

2 vegan main options and 1 vegan starter. Owner was incredibly accommodating and very apologetic for not having a vegan dessert option but encouraged to call ahead next time and he will make something

I thoroughly enjoyed the traditional plant-based Polish cuisine and the vegan takes on other Polish dishes. This is an updated review from my previous one on July 29, 2022.
