I found this place on pulsd and that's how I tried them but service was horrible we had to get up like ten times to place our orders at the bar... no one greeted us when we walked in. I had the chopped cheese with fries not good fries tasted old and burnt mean while the bartender lady was eating behind the bar fresh fries and wings.... my friend had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and her fries were also burnt and her chicken was overcooked and dried and they still thought they deserved the right to charge a 20% gratuity for horrible food and service. A fun little bar in the LES! The DJ played a lot of Rihanna/Chris Brown the night I went which was a lot of fun! Bar service can be kinda slow depending on how busy it is but I would definitely bring my friends to The Skinny if they wanted to have a fun night out.
What a fun space! I had a blast at The Skinny--the DJ was fantastic and so were the drinks. But you could tell that space, even when dark, was unclean. The dance floor was so sticky that I constantly struggled to pick up my feet.
