Booked a table for 6 people for my Dad's birthday dinner - how I didn't know about this place sooner is beyond me.After some great feedback from some very trustworthy reviewers, I had to give this place a go.
Service - as soon as we walked in, greeted with warm, friendly smiles and were seated right away. We were served by the wonderful Danielle who was so attentive all night. Danielle knew the menu back to front and was so helpful. A couple of us were very indecisive, so we asked Danielle for her recommendations (which we went with) and we were not disappointed. My favourite american style place in Brisbane. The price of the food is offset by the servings being pretty big. I always think that I won't get full from the food but end up needing to be carrird out of the restaurant. And if you are worried about cost, let me say that the lunch special menu is fairly affordable.
The service is always pretty good as is the atmosphere. The experience is always consistent. I have been here in smaller and larger groups. I always walk out happy.

First experience was amazing 4/5 for sure! But having been back several times the novelty wears off. Still a great place for a big appetite, pulled pork lovers and beef short ribs go off. The place feels genuine too with American staff who can always recommend an awfully over flavoured craft beer, (but that's just my tastes).. to wash down whatever heartattack you just consumed! Good fun!
Just had a fab lunch here with my Dad. We had the pork belly which was gorgeous & the pulled pork which was so smokey & tender. The onion rings are massive & sooo good with a great tangy ranch dressing. A side of mac & cheese made from 3 cheeses was very good. Great service from owner Steve as always. Loved it! ????
I have no doubt that the burger afficinardo would enjoy this place. I had the pork belly and it was very flavoursome. Wife has the smoked chicken burger and rated it better than Betty's chicken burger. Venue was adequate and quaint. Service was fast and friendly. Parking could be a problem on the weekend. I would return.
Bring your extra stomach or at the very least, wear stretchy pants, for the portions at The Smoke mean business.

Beef brisket roll with coleslaw and chips for sunday lunch was quite the thingReally smokey with heaps of hickory flavour yummo.
Great taste but super oily. A lot of the menu items are deep fried. The pulled pork was super salty as well
