The food and atmosphere is great. The service at the front of the house is great. The chef is a jerk. On the recommendation of a local vendor at the convention center I brought 8 friends for lunch on Friday. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meal. Including me. It took a minute because I’m a pescatarian and wanted tacos. The kitchen ultimately accommodated my request to replace beef with fish and I was happy. Fast forward to Monday afternoon when my husband and I wanted to celebrate with a late-ish lunch. We arrived at 2:30 and were the only diners, happy to be served. The food was good. The atmosphere was fun with all of the downtown Nashville goings on. But the friday afternoon waiter did not want to be at work or maybe he just thought we weren't going to tip him. I'm not sure; bad attitude. We saw the person who was seating get super upset at a couple who just wanted to move to a different table. She was still cursing under her breath when she walked away. I have no idea what was going on but not a good look. Overall, I'm pretty sure you can find a more pleasing restaurant in Nashville.
This place was unbelievable. From the service to the drinks to the food, everything was excellent. The Steak Biscuits and BBQ Shrimp were incredible and are must orders. The Ribeye and Strip Steaks were all agreed to be top 3 steaks anyone in our party has ever had. Phin was awesome as our server. Energetic, fun, and patient with our large party. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
