on Friday night before they turn off their outdoor operation and move back into the inner. had a resy for 8:30 and the host was very accommodating, though late. that finding street parking was an annoying, so in advance. place was first perfect for a chill date. service was very friendly and drinks options were extensive. the drinks themselves were ok, but nothing special. around 10, a dj started and with every later song, the place was crazy loud and crowded. good for a night outside, but we had to scream over the music before we give up and go. for happiness because it is a part of the roosevelt, there are other terraces that they can withdraw if they are not looking for a club. hosts and...
One of my favorite bars to unwind at. The decor is a throwback to the speakeasy style with a sleek modern twist, dark wood, low moody lighting, brick and concrete. The drinks are finely crafted and the bartenders are always welcoming and very knowledgeably passionate of their craft, if you're up for learning a thing or two. The energy here is laid back; classy and classic without being uptight. The music is always right on the mark as well. A true LA favorite of mine.
one of my new favorite spots in la, especially in the contrary highly recommend, a reservation for a bowling alley when/if you go. there are only two lanes and we had luck that there was a no-show when we went so that we were able to sneak the open lane for the remaining 45 minutes of the missed reservation. the lanes have a participant and scorekeeper who manually keep on the chalkboard, which is a unique application to keep the old school vibes
Not only is it super spacious and filled with rows of ping pong tables, but there are fun photo-ops, delicious food, and lounge space, too! The taquitos are so bomb.
