The pub is decent for drinks and watching sports, but the food quality is poor and overpriced. The restaurant is supposedly owned by the council. The wilted greens are unappetizing and the fish or steak is too thin and difficult to cut on the small plate with piled up chips. The tables are sticky and not cleaned properly. The staff spend more time chatting and ignoring customers. Attempts to speak to the waitress and duty manager about the poor service were unproductive. It seems they are more interested in socializing than providing good customer service. Hopefully, the business will survive on drink sales and snacks next to the theater.

Do not visit this disappointing restaurant. It is known for serving stale beer, overpriced food and drinks, having unengaged staff, lacking leadership, providing poor service, and failing to maintain cleanliness. Steer clear of this place.
